The Commissioner announced the creation of a Safer Lancashire Neighbourhoods fund when unveiling his Police and Crime Plan in December 2021. Supported by money seized from criminals through the Proceeds of Crime Act, the Fund will engage with community organisations and play an important part in delivering his five key priorities – particularly around Anti-Social Behaviour and Dangerous Driving.
Three funding streams will form the overall Safer Lancashire Neighbourhoods Fund.
