Accrington’s town centre is benefiting from a radio scheme linking shops together to help prevent crime, with support from Lancashire’s Police and Crime Commissioner.
Live chat for crime victims now open 24 hours a day
Lancashire Victim Services’ live chat is now open 24 hours a day, seven days a week to support anyone affected by crime in the county. The chat function, which can be found at www.lancashirevictimservices.org, has proven popular since its launch in 2019 and the service has decided to extend the opening hours in response to the covid-19 pandemic.
