Fund Criteria
Applications must be outcome‑focused, clearly demonstrating how projects will deliver measurable community benefits aligned to the Police and Crime Plan 2024–2029, with a strong emphasis on prevention, early intervention and community‑based activity. Projects must respond to local need, complement existing services, show strong partnership working and include robust safeguarding arrangements, particularly for VAWG and diversionary or reoffending‑prevention work.
Funding may be requested for eligible project and revenue costs, including delivery costs, project‑specific staff, volunteer expenses and equipment or materials. Support or management costs may be included up to a maximum of 10% of the total funding requested, and the total grant request must not exceed 30% of the organisation’s most recent annual income. Funding will not be awarded to individuals or private businesses, political activity, projects already underway, duplicate provision without added value, or costs that benefit private individuals or companies. Ongoing staff salaries are not supported, though short‑term, project‑specific or sessional roles essential to delivery may be considered.
