The Commissioner has provided funding for the provision of grants to enable activity that supports the delivery of his Police and Crime Plan.
The Member of Parliament Fund provides grants of up to £50,000 to deliver activity that will address one or more of the Police and Crime Plan priorities:
• Prevent Violence Against Women and Girls
• Tackle Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour
• Get Tough on Serious Violent Crime
• Rebuild Trust and Confidence in Policing
This activity must also address one or more of the local area's strategic priorities.
The Police and Crime Commissioner received an application from Rossendale and Darwen's MP.

At my Accountability Board meeting held on the 13 August 2025 I received and considered the financial position for the 2025/26 revenue and capital budget at 30 June 2025.
Accordingly, I have
• Noted the position on the Police and Crime Commissioner's Revenue budget.
• Approved an increase to the capital investment programme in 2025/26 of £0.208m
• Noted the position for the capital programme
• Noted that a separate decision paper in respect of an increase to the Vehicle Replacement programme in 2025/26 that will set out proposed costs and options to fund the additional spending will be presented for consideration in due course
