Summer Community Fund

FUND NOW LIVE (Applications close at 9AM on Monday 26th May 2025)

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Lancashire is committed to working with partners and young people to create opportunities that support growth and development.

The Summer Community Fund aims to support projects designed to engage young people who may be at risk or in need of extra support during the summer holidays. Funding is available for diversionary activities, prevention initiatives, and targeted interventions.

This fund welcomes applications from Community Safety Partnerships, local organisations, charities, community groups, and Parish and Town Councils.

Violence Against Women and Girls Fund

This Violence Against Women and Girls Fund will support intervention projects that aim to prevent violence, support survivors, and create safer environments for women and girls across Lancashire.

The fund is designed to support initiatives tackling Violence Against Women and Girls, aligning with the darker nights, and the 16 Days of Activism. It aims to raise awareness, prevent violence, and strengthen local partnership networks that protect and empower women and girls.

Business and Retail Crime Fund

The Business and Retail Crime Fund will provide financial support for intervention projects aimed at reducing crime in the retail and business sectors.

This fund is designed to help businesses, business networks, and local partnerships take proactive steps to prevent theft, fraud, violence against staff, and other crimes that impact businesses.

Reducing Reoffending Fund

The Reducing Reoffending Fund will provide financial support for intervention projects aimed at preventing repeat offending and supporting the rehabilitation of individuals with a history of criminal behaviour.

This fund is designed to help organisations develop initiatives that address the root causes of reoffending, provide support to individuals at risk, and create safer communities through targeted interventions.

Commissioner's Community Safety Partnership Fund

The CSP Fund provides financial support to initiatives led by CSPs. The fund is intended to develop and implement targeted interventions that address local crime issues, improve community safety, and strengthen partnership working between agencies.

Funded projects must align with the priorities of both the Commissioner and the relevant CSP, demonstrating clear contributions to crime prevention and enhancing local safety initiatives.

Community Payback

Community Payback is Unpaid Work which is a credible punishment providing reparation to the community and can be completed in a variety of ways to support projects which help local communities.
