Accrington Stanley Community Trust – Redz Football

Accrington Stanley Community Trust will provide two hours of free football provision to young people in Accrington between the ages of 12 and 17 at peak times of anti-social behaviour.

They will also put on workshops to pass on more information about topics such as:

  1. Knife Crime
  2. Drug and Alcohol Misuse
  3. Mental Health Support
  4. Healthy lifestyles

 

Blackburn with Darwen Community Safety Partnership – Youth Turn

Blackburn with Darwen

Blackburn with Darwen Council will run a number of group sessions with young people identified as being involved with anti-social behaviour around the bus station and surrounding areas.

 

Burnley Boys and Girls Club – Quality 

Burnley

Burnley Boys and Girls Club will facilitate group discussions with young people in safe controlled environments around the mixed messages they may have from their peers, this will focus on behaviour and stereotypes following recent incidents.

 

Burnley FC in the Community – Premier League Kicks 

Burnley

Burnley FC in the Community wish to deliver their Premier League Kicks sessions in Burnley. Premier League Kicks is a programme delivered by Burnley FC in the Community which provisions sessions completely free of charge and is open to all young people between the ages of eight and eighteen years old, including young people with SEN needs and disabilities.

 

Burnley Youth Theatre – What Difference Will it Make? – School Tour

Burnley Youth Theatre wish to deliver their ‘What Difference Will It Make’ presentation and workshops in 5 additional schools.

 

Mentorfit – Mentorfit Teens 

Ribble Valley

Mentorfit wish to deliver their Mentorfit programme with young people aged between 13 and 17 during the October and February half terms.

 

Participation Works Northwest – Better Futures 

Burnley

Participation Works NW proposes to deliver workshops across 2 Primary and 1 High School with targeted groups of young people who are at risk of or involved in ASB.

 

Chorley Borough Council – Operation Toffee 

Chorley

Chorley Borough Council will deliver multi-agency sessions at Westway and their Guardian Hub for young people identified through their Guardians network.

 

Inspire Youth Zone – Inspiring Young People: Preventing Crime and ASB through Outreach and Mentoring

Chorley

Inspire will deliver practical outreach work, individual and group mentoring programmes within hotspot locations in Chorley, Clayton Brook, Coppull, Buttermere and Adlington.

 

Mill Bank Wellbeing Centre – Mill Bank Youth Ambassadors 

Preston

Mill Bank Wellbeing Centre will deliver group team building days at multiple locations including The Foxton Centre, PNE Educational Trust, The Harris, The Youth Zone and Family Hubs.

 

Preston North End Community and Education Trust 

South Ribble

Preston North End Community and Education Trust will deliver 2 hour long sessions, recreational activities with young people in the Bamber Bridge area with the aim of diverting them from antisocial behaviour.

 

Preston Vocational Centre – Build Your Future: Pathways to Construction

Preston

This project aims to engage vulnerable young people by introducing them to the construction industry and providing them with valuable skills while addressing issues related to anti-social behaviour and low-level criminality.

 

Blackpool FC Community Trust – Tower Above 

Blackpool

Blackpool FC Community Trust will deliver a weekly group session at Bloomfield Road Stadium, aimed at young people who are at risk of and/or in the early stages of committing ASB related offences.

 

Rosscon Training Ltd – Empowering Youth, Strengthening Community: A Local Youth Club Initiative

Blackpool

Rosscon CIC will deliver a new local youth club within Blackpool’s Claremont ward with the aim of lowering crime within the community in several important ways.

 

Stakeholders of Brunswick – Brunswick Community Project 

Blackpool

Stakeholders of Brunswick will provide diversionary activities for the young people who may have been involved in the incidents over the summer holidays. They aim to do this through:

  • Painting
  • Woodwork
  • Gardening

 

The Streetlife Trust – Sharing Words 

Blackpool

The Streetlife Trust will provide weekly sessions for homeless young people to practice and develop their skills to perform and present the spoken word.

 

Every Action Has Consequences – Adams Story

Every Action has consequences will deliver their ‘Adams Story’ input to schools Pan Lancashire. They will do this through assemblies/tutorials and also the development of a resources pack for schools to utilise.

 

Homewise – Stay Safe 

Hyndburn, Rossendale and Ribble Valley

Homewise will provide free crime prevention assessments and install security measures as required for vulnerable people in their homes to make them feel safer.

 

Hyndburn Borough Council – Mobile Scrap Metal Collectors/Waste Carriers and Compliance

Hyndburn

Hyndburn Borough Council will deliver a number of days of action with the local police around the licensing of Mobile Scrap Metal Collectors, etc.

 

Masjid & Madrassa Islamia – Children Engagement and Reduction in Anti-Social Behaviour in the Area

Hyndburn

Masjid & Madrassa Islamia aim to prevent crime and reduce anti-social behaviour by engaging young people in positive, community-based activities. They will do this through:

  • Ewood Express Trips
  • Aspiration and Skill Development Workshops
  • Engagement with Local Role Models
  • Community Activities

 

The Billy Project – ASB Project 

Blackburn with Darwen

The Billy project aim to tackle crime and antisocial behaviour in female ex-offenders living in Blackburn with Darwen by engaging them in gym activities.

 

Community Network and Outreach Service – CNOS Safe Space 

South Ribble

CNOS intend to run a weekly youth provision space for young people to come, socialise, be in a safe space, access a meal, work with them on project ideas and events for the wider benefit of the community but are also shaped by them.

 

Blackpool Borough Council – Op Prevent 

Blackpool

Blackpool Borough Council aims to apply for 10 Civil Injunctions on the most aggressive beggars that are causing a nuisance to the residents, visitors and businesses that are not taking the help on offer to them, and a further 10 Closure Orders on the top 10 Convenience shops that are selling illegal/illicit tobacco and vapes.

 

Blackpool Council – Awaken Child Exploitation Team – Op Engage 

Blackpool

Blackpool Council aims to tackle child exploitation, ASB and county lines by using outreach work within the Blackpool area.

 

Emily Davidson Centre – Recovery Support via Group Work Programmes for Trans and Non-Binary People Experiencing Domestic Abuse

Hyndburn

The EDC want to provide a safe space and 8 week recovery programme for up to 10 individuals that will be run with experienced and professional facilitators and domestic abuse practitioners to help improve participants safety, improve confidence and reduce the barriers to reporting crimes to the statutory services.

 

The Foxton Centre – Foxton Women’s Services – Time Out 

Preston

The Foxton Centre will provide a weekly space at the Women’s Centre, for 2-3 hours, for women from Mill Bank, service users of the Women’s Foxton Centre and other similar projects to come together, as and when, to have access to all avenues of support from trained professionals.

 

Kirkham Town Council – Kirkham Town Council CCTV 

Fylde

Kirkham Town Council have identified that their CCTV needs an upgrade due to the quality and state of the existing equipment.

 

Pennine Community Safety Partnership – The JJ Effect 

Burnley, Rossendale, Hyndburn & Blackburn with Darwen

Pennine Lancashire Community Safety Partnership (PLCSP) will raise awareness around the danger of knife crime through delivery by “the JJ effect” in colleges/educational premises.
