Commissioner Grunshaw Talks Community Concerns with Burscough Police Officers

During the walkaround, Commissioner Grunshaw learned how officers are working with partners to prevent and combat anti-social behaviour, retail crime, and knife crime. They also discussed the impact on residential areas and local businesses.

Commissioner Grunshaw emphasised the importance of visible, proactive policing in maintaining community safety and trust. He praised the officers for their commitment to tackling local issues and ensuring a safer environment for all.

Clive Grunshaw, Police and Crime Commissioner for Lancashire said:

“Listening to the concerns of our communities is crucial in delivering a strong, efficient policing service that the public have confidence in.

“As the public’s voice in policing, I am committed to acting on what the public tells me, securing the necessary resources to deliver them, and standing up for Lancashire and fair funding to support our officers in their vital work.

“As I work to deliver the most effective police force possible, through strong leadership and tough scrutiny, I will continue to work with partners, bring stakeholders together and ensure that every penny spent is used to deliver the best possible service for the people of Lancashire.”
