Lancashire’s Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw has continued to scrutinise the work of Lancashire police, supporting and challenging to make sure the force is doing everything it can to keep people safe and tackle crime.
“As the public’s voice in policing it is really important to me that I raise issues that are important to people and ensure that policing in Lancashire is delivering the efficient, effective service that the public expect and deserve.
“After once again been named as outstanding when it comes to the way we use the resources at our disposal, it is crucial that we continue to maintain this high quality of service and the high standards of service that we have built here in Lancashire.
“The way the service has risen to the unique challenges brought by the pandemic, adapting the work that they do whilst still ensuring that day to day policing continued to keep people safe and take criminals off our streets, has been hugely impressive and I will continue to act as a critical friend to the force as we all work together to deliver for Lancashire.”
