Funding for domestic abuse services20 May, 2020
Domestic abuse and sexual violence services can now access additional funding to help them continue to support victims through the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Ministry of Justice has allocated funding to the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, to distribute directly to the charities supporting those most in need.
The funding can only be used by organisations providing direct support to domestic abuse and sexual violence victims, and specifically covers additional costs incurred as a direct result of Covid-19.
Any charities interested in accessing this funding, who have not already received full details, should contact email@example.com for further information.
Alternatively, full eligibility criteria can be viewed by accessing the government handbook here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/covid-19-funding-for-domestic-abuse-and-sexual-violence-support-services
